MoneyIsTime does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All settings are stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local.

The following data may be stored locally:

• Your salary and salary type
• Working hours and working days
• Preferred currency
• Preferred language
• Per-site blacklist settings

2. How data is used

Stored values are used exclusively for local calculations to show how much work time corresponds to prices detected on webpages. The extension never reads form inputs, credentials, cookies, or sensitive personal data.

3. Exchange rate API usage

The extension retrieves public exchange rates from:
https://open.er-api.com

Only the currency code is requested. No browsing data or personal information is transmitted.

4. Permissions used

• storage: saves preferences locally.
• tabs: detects the current domain for blacklist inclusion.
• scripting: required to inject the annotation script.

5. Data sharing

No data is shared with third parties. No analytics or trackers are used.

6. User control

• Clear extension data from the browser
• Disable the extension
• Remove the extension
